Morningside Publishing Performance Audit

Morningside's flagship site was failing Core Web Vitals — LCP averaging 4.2s, CLS over 0.3 on article pages. We did a full technical audit (real-user monitoring + synthetic) and produced a prioritized improvement roadmap. The top three items were responsible for 80% of the regression: hero image not being preloaded, third-party ad library blocking render, and font-display:swap not set.
